Welcome Home: House and Land Clearing
As you know, house maintenance on the physical side requires attention, periodically and often. But, what has happened in your house over the years that has left a spiritual residue that could be affecting you and your family? Their Nahua traditional path enables Adam and Erin to bring you and your family unique specialized rites that offer relief and blessing through bringing your home and land back into balance with you and the surrounding environment.
The ancient residents of the Americas were very practical people. Over the generations, as the villagers began living in shelters and then huts, longhouses or other houses, they recognized that the enclosed environment of their human-built and human-occupied homes could trap stagnation and fall pray to other spiritual imbalances. In some ways, the home is seen as a living being that can become “sick” or imbalanced due to many things: from the regular stagnation of emotions from normal living and intrafamily conflicts, disharmony with nature spirits and natural forms, or entity invasions including, for example, the disruption caused by someone dying in the home.

We are Adam Laufer and Erin Everett, and we are weather workers, tepahtiani healers and ceremonial leaders in the ancient lineage of graniceros (also known by our traditional titles quiaquepiz and quiatlzques). We were called to this work and initiated in 2003.
All year, we and our colleagues work for beneficial weather for the area in and around Asheville. Our work involves gratitude and giving back, elements in a universal language of ceremony that has its echoes in all authentic traditions of human beings.
